"Thank You" to everyone who took part in The James E. Hendry Chapter  59th Annual Hibiscus Show and Plant Sale. Held Sunday, June 6, 2010 at the Araba Shriners Temple Hall Here is a behind the scenes look at what went into making this year's show a big success: Our 2010 Sponsors Thank you to our Sponsors, without whose support  we would not have had such a great show! 2010 Judging Area Thank you to our Judges who chose the Winners  and awarded Ribbons for each Exhibitor Classification Thank you to Hibiscus Growers - Unbelievable Hibiscus Nursery,  Don Mixon and Kathy Grandoff, who rolled in cart after cart of  Beautiful Hibrid Hibiscus Plants to be sold at our Plant Sale Thank You to Pete (pictured on the left) and Jo Conrad, Conrad Nursery, who brought in many Wonderful Hybrid Hibiscus Plants for our Sale. Jeffrey Beal is helping to arrange the Conrad Nursery Plants. These lovely Pride of Hankins, were carried in by Jack Bernatz, with Bob Hannan working inside the Unbelievable Hibiscus trailer.   The Pride of Hankins plants were offered as one of several Door Prizes in our Drawings throughout the day. Sarah Albertson, Diane Kaye, Wanda Schmoyer, Barbara Oster, and Mary Adams discuss Setup and Show materials. The Bloom Exhibitor's set up area Curt Sinclair prepares blooms to Exhibit Many lovely blooms were presented. Carlos and Nola Reynolds prepare their Blooms for entry. Mary Adams and Helen Sanders take a minute to relax amid the preparation activities. All the preparations are about finished, thanks to Chapter Members Sigi and Edith Steinle, Ann Wollschlager and many, many other volunteer members. Cashiers Roger Teuscher, Jill Breslin, and Charlotte Harff are in place and ready to start the sale. Let the fun begin; we're ready for the show! About 762 plants were purchased in all. Thank you again, to everyone who contributed, worked,  exhibited, attended our sale, and purchased our plants.
